Replace Your Rise of Kingdoms Roster Spreadsheet
Every alliance starts with the same Google Sheet. Every alliance eventually breaks it — usually two weeks into KvK. Here's why, and what to use instead.
Why spreadsheets fail at scale
- Every stat update is manual typing from a screenshot.
- No history — last week's numbers get overwritten.
- Permissions are all-or-nothing; members can't view safely.
- Donation tracking lives in a separate tab nobody updates.
Screenshot import instead of retyping
A roster tracker that accepts a screenshot of the in-game alliance roster turns a 90-minute weekly task into a 2-minute one. Alliance Codex reads governor name, power, kills and helps directly from the image and reconciles them against the existing roster.
Weekly snapshots make decisions defensible
When you tell a governor their kill contribution dropped 40%, they want to see the numbers. A snapshot per week per governor turns uncomfortable conversations into matter-of-fact ones.
Roles your officers actually need
R5 admins, R4 officers, members with read access. A spreadsheet can't model this safely — a real tool can. Members see their own history; officers see everyone's; the bank ledger is restricted to officers.
